Ohh... it's a sequel that plays part after Sands of Time. After the Prince had released the sands of time he was supposed to die but he didn't. Because of that a terrible beast called the Dahaka which is the guardian of the timeline chases him and tries to kill him. So he takes a ship to the island of time trying to change his fate by preventing the empress of time of ever creating the sands. On the island you traverse between the past and the present, while sometimes being found and chased by the Dahaka in the present.
Your mission is to stop the empress of creating the sands and then there are some really awesome plot twist I can't spoil.
